An artificial air bubble that makes our cameras able to work underwater and in adverse weather! Makes you wonder, why aren't cameras being built directly into waterproof casings, doesn't it?

I was testing* the integrity of the casing before actually trusting the action camera with it.

Here's a simple way to quick-check it:

- Clean all sealing elements and surfaces thoroughly.
- Put some folded tissue inside so it touches all command buttons and sealed spots.
- Bring the casing to its rated depth plus 10-15%, and vigorously work all command buttons.
- Outside, wipe the camera case dry, then open it and inspect the tissue wad for wet spots.
- If there are none, you may use the camera within this casing to its rated depth - pressure. Never omit the cleaning of sealed areas before entering water!

I'd suggest everyone should do the same, because of certain "sometimes"...
