Some poor people triy to sell "souvenirs" to the passers-by and so stretch their lives by another day or two. The sight of old people pushing their multi-colored Whatevers makes me wish I was able to buy it all - just to see some glitter in their eyes and maybe a smile passing across their worn-out faces.
It would be worth it - even as I'd probably throw the whole junk into the next trash can.
Then again, I have no surplus money at all.
