Scorpion Fish

Scorpaena scrofa, red scorpion fish, is among the most beautifully ugly creatures one can meet in the sea!
It relies utterly upon its camouflage abilities, and whether hunting or hiding, will try to blend with the ambient. Until something tries to grab it.
Then the secondary defense set gets enabled, in form of poisonous dorsal and lateral spines, which makes the attackers quickly change their mind and location.

--&bt; NOTE: It is good to know that the poison of ALL marine animals is thermolabile.

So if you get stung by any poisonous marine life, APPLY HOT WATER - as hot as you can endure - to remove or minimise the effects. Even the boat's outpouring engine-cooling water will do, as long as it is done immediately.
