Beautiful composition, it has a very overall monocromatic soothing feel. I love that you captured the snow falling without it just looking like faded white dokadots. The patch of snow on the nose tells a story of a fresh hunt by this gorgeous coyote all dressed in his winter coat. : )

Location
The temperature was hovering around 0 degrees and it was snowing steadily when I went to Bear Creek Lake Regional Park to see if any critters were moving around. This park is adjacent to Morrison, Colorado and has a mix of prairie and cottonwood river bottom riparian habitat.Time
About 4 pm and the light was already beginning to fade as it was mid-winter.Lighting
Large snow flakes were steadily falling and the light was just beginning to fade in the mid-winter afternoon.Equipment
Canon 7D Mark II with 150-600 mm Tamron lens, shot at 600 mm 1/1250 second, f 6.3. I wanted the shutter speed to be adequate to freeze the falling snowflakes.Inspiration
It was a dramatic snow storm and large flakes were falling, making for a great opportunity to capture any wildlife that might be out and about.Editing
I adjusted white balance and some minor cropping is the extent of my post processing. In my camera bag
Canon 7D Mark II and 5D Mark III.Feedback
Get out there and try. Often you will not see much, but when you do, sometimes it can be dramatic.
