Thank you to all the photographers that shared their photos showing the rule of thirds composition in the Rule Of Thirds Photo Contest with chances to win a Nikon D3300 and more!

A special thanks to our friend and professional photographer Jennifer Hudson for her collaboration as a guest judge in this photo contest. Jennifer Hudson is a young visual artist creating staged imagery that is both artistically stylized and meticulously crafted. Drawing inspirations from themes of faith and the intricacy of personal relationships, Jennifer is a dynamic and emotional illustrator of the human heart. The work is soulful, seeking the use of the forgotten or discarded, heavily symbolic, eerie and quiet. She references her faith and spirituality to bring insight and awareness, using heartfelt, acutely mapped personal experiences.

Grand Jury Winner

"As I scrolled through the gallery, I found myself re-visiting this image again and again. It has all of the yummy things a viewer craves in a photograph; beautiful light direction, sumptous tonal range, texture, interesting use of shape, line, and space. Beyond that, though, the image is commanding.  It challenges the viewer, and most importantly, it poses questions.  Any time I look at a photograph and it makes me stop, even for just a few seconds, I know there’s something to it.  When, in those few seconds, I start to ask questions, I know I’m viewing a powerful image.  I love that my mind is able to wander, and answer those questions in a way that is unique, causing me to have a personal experience and understanding of the photograph.  Congratulations! " - Jennifer Hudson
