Wildlife Love Photo Contest
Meet the Master Judges
Jeff and Angie Birmingham
Jeff and Angie Birmingham are a husband and wife team who have been traveling the globe together from the time they met, jumping at every opportunity to capture the beauty of nature and all it has to offer. The images they capture are all about the outdoors and each image tells a story in natural landscapes, many with local or exotic wildlife, epic or intimate. Based in South Texas, Jeff and Angie just happen to live in one of the birdiest areas in the United States, which also is home to an abundance of native wildlife, including whitetail deer, javelinas and armadillos.

Tips For Photographing Wildlife

📷 Be patient and observant: Wildlife photography requires a lot of patience and observation. You need to spend time in the animal's environment and watch their behavior and movements. This will help you anticipate their actions and get better shots.

📷 Use the right equipment: Wildlife photography often requires a telephoto lens and a sturdy tripod. A telephoto lens will allow you to get close-up shots without disturbing the animal, while a tripod will help you keep the camera steady and avoid blurry images.

📷 Respect the animals and their environment: When photographing wildlife, it's important to respect their space and behavior. Avoid disturbing the animals or their habitats, and follow the rules and regulations of the area where you're photographing.
