Thank you to all the photographers that shared their best photos showing the beauty of our planet in the Earth Day 2017 Photo Contest with chances to win a Photography Bundle and more!

A special thanks to our friend and professional photographer Simon Roppel for his collaboration as a guest judge in this photo contest. Simon is an award winning Swiss photographer. His passion for photography increased steadily since he started in 2010. Since then he has traveled all around the globe, always searching for the perfect shot. Simon loves the remote areas and being one with nature. His enthusiasm about photography hardly knows a limit.

Grand Jury Winner

"A really unique work and for me the deserved winner of this contest. It shows the diversity our planet has to offer and why taking photographs is so important. There are so many people out there, who don't even know, that places like this exist. We need to go out there and look for those unique locations and perspectives and preserve all those moments for the people who don't have the chance to witness something like this with their own eyes." - Simon Roppel

Runner Up

"Even if this location is a really over captured place, the Artist achieved in my eyes. Especially from locations of which you might find thousands of photographs it's even harder to create an "eye catcher" that takes your attention immediately. There are so many possible compositions at this waterfall and this one just works so nice." - Simon Roppel

Runner Up

"I've chosen that shot because the Artist presented a completely new vision of showing a forest scenery. A big criterion I have is, that photographers try new things and don't copy compositions they might have seen before." - Simon Roppel
