You always hear that "Freedom comes with a price". However, has the average Russian citizen's freedom been increased by this invasion? Has anyone seen increased liberty by these actions? Or what is being witnessed is the oppression of a people in an independent country as well as those citizens that oppose the action of their own government.

IMHO, all offensive actions and wars have had some pretext, be it political or religious, and all were later uncovered as lies. In the end it was, is, and will be about enslavement, theft, robbery and territorial expansions. Sure, "freedom comes with a price" - but that also means there is no price that can be put on keeping it.
