This was in the Wasatch Mountains, a special place I know that always has great light. This day was overcast, so even better light was filtering throughTime

Just super soft and light- first the canopy was filtering the light, then it was also foggy... so super soft light.Equipment
This was my D810.... and as wide an angle lens as I have (15mm)., Tripod so I could use a low ISO and get vivid color.Inspiration
I was struck first by the color. Then by the textures, especially the moss. I wanted to see that texture.Editing
Very minimal- just basic color/contrast/lum because it was all there in the shot.In my camera bag
I used my backpack set for this- a few lenses, tripod...Feedback
Take your time. No rush. Just make something pretty. REMOVE DISTRACTIONS!
