Very creative. I like the model who mimics the clock hands

I noticed that AFTER I had shot it- wished I had waited a couople more minutes. Thought about photoshopping the hands just right, too... but the lettering behind the hands threw me.

An important time, like - a grandchild is born? Really eye catching, and intriguing.

Behind The Lens

Location
This was shot in downtown Salt Lake Cit.
Time
At about 9:15 in the evening....
Lighting
The lighting was real fun in this image. My daughter is holding a soft box in this image just above the model. I had to shoot multiple images to layer out my daughter and the light. I wanted the flash to be directional as an accent straight down...so it only needed to be 1/2 stop above ambient... so I was pushing things with ISO 1000
Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D810 at ISO1000 ƒ/5.6 1/80sec. The lens is a 70-200
Inspiration
Honestly, the model wanted to do this! It was a great idea!
Editing
The lighting and color was all done in camera. But removing the lighting rig (held in place by my daughter!) was the main photoshop challenge. I had multiple images both with and without lighting. But it was shot hand held, so it was pretty tricky...
In my camera bag
I change it up depending on what I need fior a shoot. I move stuff in and out all the time!
Feedback
The important thing from this shoot was to listen to those around you. The pose was thought up by the model...
