Nothing special about timelapse photography, it's a pretty straightforward process, via the attached timer.

Note the camera clamp replacing the usual tripod. This little thing fits in any pocket; saves cash, space and weight. Sony F-828 is quite heavy, but the small ballhead manages to hold it rock-steady.

Moreover, its compactness means no flexibility, so no vibrations. If you do not find the thing in your store, it can be easily made via DIY (like here: http:--www.viewbug.com-photo-12892161 )...
