I like this. Again, like the other photo I commented on, the tones of the skin are very good.

Location
This photo was taken in a spare bedroom in my house that I had set up for this occasion.Time
Time of day was late afternoon. This beautiful woman has three children and had to arrange for a sitter!Lighting
I used lighting from a side window, an overhead light, two umbrella lights and a softshoe on my camera (with diffuser). The umbrella lights were pointed away from the bed because the only direct light I wanted was from the side window.Equipment
I used all the lighting mentioned above, my Nikon D3200 with added flash and diffuser plus a lens filter.Inspiration
I think my daughter (in this photo) is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. I wanted to take a few sexy shots like this (tasteful but sexy), so I had been working on her for a while to allow me to shoot her. This was the first time for either of us and she felt very strange having her Mom shoot sexy photographs but we managed!Editing
I always edit! Crop, color enhance, whiten the whites of the eyes makes them POP, burn a little around the bottom of the outer edge gives the eyes another pop. If you’re working in close proximity and unable to use DOF setting, fake it a little with editing. In my camera bag
Nikon D3200, at least 2 Lens, several lens filters, flash with diffuser, point n shoot Sony, Iphone, extra batteries, extra SDHC cards, iPad adapter.Feedback
First get the location right with lighting and make it comfortable for the model. Next, make the model (whether you know them or not) comfortable with the scene, the poses and with what you are asking of them. Do not ask anything of them that makes them feel strange or if it is something they are not willing to do. If you have to chide them into a pose, you will not get the look you want. And last but not least, they need to approve the final piece. If they don’t like it, don’t use it. Remember, the web is forever.
