Exact copy of an ely locardi picture. Beautifull, but not very original.

Loved our time in Tuscany, and you photo brought it right bank to mind. Thank you.

Location
I was in Col d'Orcia,Tuscany, Italy, in May a few years ago. I had been at this famous spot for 3 days at dawn. Hoping for the mist to fall in the valleys. it arrived this particular morning.Time
It was dawn.Very close to sunrise. About 6.00 am.Lighting
Dawn in Tuscany is so perfect. Soft gentle light, pastel colours to everything. Bright. Flattening the perspective and bringing everything closer to the viewer. Challenging to balance the light without burnout nor underexposureEquipment
A tripod,and my Nikon D2XS, Nikon 17-55m F2.8 Lens, Cokin ND filters and a remote release.Inspiration
Tuscany, has stunning scenery and Col d'Orcia has been used in some famous movies. However, Tuscany 's dawn pastel colours and great light are a dream for landscape photography.Editing
It was edited in Nikon NX, Levels and Curves, a little contrast . I always shoot raw, so I have a more control the final image. In my camera bag
Nikon camera's, Z7,2870 F4 , D7300, Nikon 24-120 F4 now Previously D810e, D2XS, Nikon 17-55 f2,8, 70-200 F2,8, F2,8 105mm, filters, tripod , Nikon SB flashes and remote release.Most of this was stolen.Feedback
Go early, be patient, have time for your compositions, there are plenty available., Be aware of the fast changing light conditions, and don't just leave the moment the sun comes up, sometimes the mist arrives a little after.
