Grand Jury Winner

"Such powerful elements had to come together to make this wonderful scene. I love the symmetry and graphic nature of the image, but what amazes me the most is the shape the aurora creates to perfectly frame the mountain." - Cliff Baise

Runner Up

"This photo is nothing short of amazing. There are so many good elements, from the kissing of light on the golden trees, to the beautiful gradation on the field below. The little church is simply the cherry on top of an incredible scene." - Cliff Baise

Runner Up

"Wow. That mountain is absolutely incredible. The detail, clarity and light is amazing. Having the human element of the gondola really brings the scale into perspective and makes for a perfect composition." - Cliff Baise

Runner Up

"It’s just so beautiful. It’s hard to believe this perfect scene is not a composite. Any professional would be proud to have this photograph at the top of their portfolio." - Cliff Baise

Runner Up

"It is such a joy to see this unusual composition. The texture and shape of the wood is so good. The little peaks in the wood really compliment the shapes of the mountain and the overall tone is extremely relaxing." - Cliff Baise
