Cracking mono landscape image. Love the way the tracks lead you into the image. Congrats

Love this shot! The horizon simply fades out in such a way that it looks like you could simply step off the edge of the earth. Totally cool!!

Location
This photo was taken in Richlands, VA.Time
It was taken in October around 8am when you can still feel a slight chill in the air.Lighting
The sun wasn't very bright because it was foggy and overcast that day but it was just what I needed to get the perfect picture.Equipment
I took this with my Nikon D7000 and 18-200mm 3.5-5.6 lens.Inspiration
I love how the fog disguised that the tracks going around a curve so that you can't see what's ahead of you. I've gone through some tough periods in my life and its definitely been a battle. I looked at this picture and it gave me inspiration. The tracks on the far right merge with the middle set of tracks just before they disappear into the fog while the tracks on the left have their own route. We can all get to the same destination but take a different path and sometimes we don't end up where we originally intended to be. We just have to keep on going even when we can't see what's ahead of us and have faith that we'll end up where we're suppose to be..Editing
I did some cloning to take out trash and power lines. I then changed it to black and white, boosted the contrast some and added a bit of grain to give it more depth. In my camera bag
Nikon D7000, 50mm 1.8, 18-200mm 3.5-5.6, SB 700, and the ever important dog squeaky toy to get the attention of kids and animalsFeedback
