Grand Jury Winner

"This photograph was the most striking example of inanimate objects. What attracted me is the photograph's perspective, depth, composition, and the use of color.  The textured lines in the ice draw your eye into the interesting shape of the wreckage which then leads to the sunset.  The use of the contrasting color between the ice and the warmth of the sunset intensifies this dramatic photo. I think it is a winning combination of originality, creativity, and interpretation of the theme. " - Lou Manna

Runner Up

"I am drawn into the circular composition created by the stars with their faint streaks of color.  The elongated perspective of the tractor through the use of a wide angle lens and shot at a low angle increases the dimension of the photograph.  The subtle use of warm and cool colors of light add to the surreal qualities of this stellar photo." - Lou Manna

Runner Up

"The striking color combination and texture draw your eye into this wonderful photo and create impact and depth.   The detail in the headlight lens is so linear, crisp, and clear juxtaposed to the irregularity of the cracks all around it.  The texture of the car appears so rough yet it is softened by the creative use of warm light." - Lou Manna

People's Choice

"This photograph evokes peace and tranquility both from the stillness of the water and the color palette.  The dappled sunlight on the side of the hull (especially in the reflection) achieves warmth and gives depth to the image.  The lack of a horizon line adds to the intrigue and continues to give the viewer a serene, soothing feeling without any interruption." - Lou Manna
