VIEWBUG is founded on the principle of helping photographers within our platform where users can share their photos with the community, join photo contests or challenges, create challenges, build websites and search for photos, like or comment on them.

Information Collected by VIEWBUG
We only collect personal information that is relevant to the purpose of our website. This information allows us to provide you with a customized and efficient experience. We collect the following types of information from our VIEWBUG users:

We collect certain information to make VIEWBUG better for you and to provide a great overall experience.
Information You Provide to Us
  1. We receive and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our special features.
  2. Registration: In order for you to use VIEWBUG services you must complete a registration form. As part of this registration form, we require certain personal information.

User Profile: To allow you to express yourself beyond just the information collected during registration, we enable you to provide additional information, such as your first and last names, email address, social media account names, your birthday, a bio, favorite URLs, and instant messaging IDs. In addition, you may choose to include photos of yourself in your profile. Automatic Information
  1. We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. VIEWBUG and its authorized agents automatically receive and record certain "traffic data" on their server logs from your browser including your IP address, VIEWBUG cookie information, and the page you requested. VIEWBUG uses this traffic data to help diagnose problems with its servers, analyze trends and administer the website. This does not involve collecting any of your personal information.
  2. In addition to the "traffic data", VIEWBUG and its authorized agents may collect information about the device you're using to access VIEWBUG, its operating system, unique device identifier, device settings such as language and crash data. Which data is specifically collected depends on the type of device and/or system running on that device. This data is again used to help us diagnose problems with the site and/or mobile apps and analyze usage trends. This does not involve collecting any of your personal information.
  3. VIEWBUG may collect and use information regarding the geographic location of your devices. If the location data contains your personal information, then VIEWBUG will treat this location data in accordance with this Policy.
  4. VIEWBUG may collect and, on any page, display the total counts that page has been viewed. This includes User Profile pages.
  5. Many companies offer programs that help you to visit websites anonymously. While VIEWBUG will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these programs are available.

VIEWBUG is very concerned about your privacy and we will never provide your email address to a third party without your explicit permission, as detailed in the "Sharing Your Information" section below. VIEWBUG may send out e-mails with VIEWBUG-related news, products, offers, surveys or promotions. You may also receive notification e-mails from VIEWBUG, which inform you of actions (e.g. friend requests) that have been performed on the site.   • User Profile information: Information collected during registration and subsequent visits, such as your full name and location, may be displayed to other VIEWBUG users in your User Profile. The User Profile is the area on VIEWBUG where we allow you to tell other VIEWBUG users about yourself. You may control what personal information is displayed in your User Profile by visiting the Settings section of your User Profile.
  • Followers' Activity: Much like other online social networks, VIEWBUG allows non-followers to browse your followers’ activity.
  • Syndication: VIEWBUG allows for the RSS syndication of all of its public content within the VIEWBUG website.
  • Service Providers: VIEWBUG may share user information as well as information from tools such as cookies, log files, device identifiers and location data, with third-parties that help VIEWBUG provide services to you (“Service Providers”). Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary for VIEWBUG to provide our services. VIEWBUG requires Services Providers to protect your data in a manner consistent with this Policy and to limit the use of such information to the performance of services for VIEWBUG. We recommend that minors between the ages of 14 and 18 ask and receive their parents' permission before using VIEWBUG or sending information about themselves or anyone else over the Internet.

Retention time
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.

You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information, subject to exceptions set forth by the law (such as, including but not limited to, where the information is used to identify and repair errors on this Application, to detect security incidents and protect against fraudulent or illegal activities, to exercise certain rights etc.).

If no legal exception applies, as a result of exercising your right, we will delete your personal information and direct any of our service providers to do so.

How to exercise your rights
To exercise the rights described above, you need to submit your verifiable request to us by contacting us via the details provided in this document.

For us to respond to your request, it’s necessary that we know who you are. Therefore, you can only exercise the above rights by making a verifiable request which must:

  • Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
  • Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
  • We will not respond to any request if we are unable to verify your identity and therefore confirm the personal information in our possession actually relates to you.

If you cannot personally submit a verifiable request, you can authorize a person registered with the California Secretary of State to act on your behalf.

If you are an adult, you can make a verifiable request on behalf of a minor under your parental authority.

You can submit a maximum number of 2 requests over a period of 12 months.

How and when we are expected to handle your request
We will confirm receipt of your verifiable request within 10 days and provide information about how we will process your request.

We will respond to your request within 45 days of its receipt. Should we need more time, we will explain to you the reasons why, and how much more time we need. In this regard, please note that we may take up to 90 days to fulfill your request.

Our disclosure(s) will cover the preceding 12 month period.

Should we deny your request, we will explain you the reasons behind our denial.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable request unless such request is manifestly unfounded or excessive. In such cases, we may charge a reasonable fee, or refuse to act on the request. In either case, we will communicate our choices and explain the reasons behind it.
