Black and White Nature Photo Contest Winners

"First I would like to congratulate everyone, it was a really hard choice with such amazing images. In black and white photography, we don’t have this panel of amazing colors which can retain the viewers attention, but the advantage is that it adapts really well to all lighting situations. You’ve to play with the texture and your image and your message should be stronger to work well in black in white. The image of this baby chimpanzee caught my attention directly, you’re literally captured by the baby’s eyes and the use of black and white make this image dramatic." - Chris Schmid
