On a cold winter morning, during my walk I spotted this Mother Monkey with her child cuddled together and sleeping .
At first, I thought to myself that I should not disturb their privacy but then I couldn’t hold myself back from capturing such a bonding between a Mother and child which even conveys the recognisable human-like behaviour of one of our primate relatives.
The weather was beautiful with the morning sunlight just behind the trees. The surrounding greenery as the background was adding much more to make the scene feel cozier. I was quite fortunate with the lighting in this shot, coming in from the right-hand side, which highlighted the mother’s hand on her child. Hence I decided to capture this expression of love between mother and offspring so entangled together in deep sleep.
When shooting landscapes, portraits, night sky or any subject one should always feel and understand the beauty surrounded before capturing, but when it comes to shooting wildlife one must respect the privacy of the animals and have a lot of patience to capture it.
It is said that patience is a virtue and this certainly holds true in wildlife photography. Photographing wildlife is not as easy as shooting other subjects, because we cannot make them move or pose accordingly. This requires observation from a distance since the surroundings can be dangerous. It is advised to wait for the right moment and one must always be prepared to wait, and be patient. Wildlife photography takes a long time to get good shots, and to get good shots one must know the right gear, rules, light, shoot wider or shoot closer, and again patience isn't a necessity but it’s a MUST. :) :) and finally last but not the least... I must say nature and wildlife photography is tough, but for me, ultimately its rewarding :) :)

Very nice capture of Mom and baby. Just a question Is the saturation or colors normal ? Wonder if you dropped the sat. back a smidgen if it would change it much. face seems a bit too red. Is that a bug on mom's nose or a scrape? By all means it is a great shot.

This photo would indeed be one of my favorite images, it was a cozy winter day around 12:30 p.m.Lighting
On a cold winter day, during my walk I spotted this Mother Monkey with her child cuddled together and sleeping. Hence I decided to capture this expression of love between mother and offspring so entangled together in deep sleep.Equipment
I used a Canon 600D Camera, 250mm telephoto Zoom Lens,Inspiration
The bonding emotions between a Mother and Child cuddled together in deep sleep.Editing
When shooting wildlife photography or landscape or any type of photography post processing comes in handy and its advisable to always shoot in RAW, I did post processing to this image just to bring out the contrast and white balance in its place to match the coziness atmosphere in this image, since the camera settings at times do not match the weather conditions so I took the advantage of processing it a bit, and finally happy with the outcome. In my camera bag
I always carry a Canon EF-S 55-250mm telephoto zoom Lens for wildlife photography, 18-55mm to shoot landscape whenever its a beautiful day, A Tripod to avoid handshake which may cause the image to blur especially when using slow shutter speed, and of course water to be cool and composed. : )Feedback
Wildlife photography takes a long time to get good shots, and to get good shots one must know the right gear, rules, light, shoot wider or shoot closer, and finally again patience isn't a necessity but it’s a MUST. :) :)
