Spotted this Monkey who was awake while his mother was sleeping, He was playing very happily all by himself. As I went nearer to him he looked very curious and confused as to what I was upto and was looking away on how to get rid of me. I was lucky as the light was pleasant with the blurry green soft background. I continued to focus and stayed patiently waiting to get his eyes into my lens, at the same time he was trying to communicate with his mother about my presence and in that moment I was fortunate enough to catch the glimpse of his curious look.

A delightful, endearing, and very cute shot. Nice narrow depth of field creating focus on the eyes, and some wonderful bokeh. Superb photography.

Ahhh...what an endearing darling!! When I was a kid I used to dream of having a pet monkey one day - a totally politically incorrect desire I had to let go of :) Seeing all the monkey photos on viewbug makes me happy though! I am hoping for a chance to take some images myself one day! Thanks for sharing this image - very endearing creature!

I used a Canon 600D Camera, and Cannon 250mm telephoto Zoom Lens,Inspiration
Those beautiful eyes and that looksEditing
When shooting wildlife photography or any type of photography post processing comes in handy and its advisable to always shoot in RAW, I did post processing to this image just to bring out the contrast and white balance in its place to match the soft background light in this image, since the camera settings at times do not match the weather conditions so I took the advantage of processing it a bit, and finally happy with the outcome. In my camera bag
I always carry a Canon EF-S 55-250mm telephoto zoom Lens for wildlife photography, 18-55mm to shoot landscape whenever its a beautiful day, A Tripod to avoid handshake which may cause the image to blur especially when using slow shutter speed, and of course water to be cool and composed. : )Feedback
When shooting pictures one should always feel and understand the beauty surrounded with the subject, but when it comes to shooting wildlife one must respect the privacy of the animals and have a lot of patience to capture it. It is said that patience is a virtue and this certainly holds true in wildlife photography. Photographing wildlife is not as easy as shooting other subjects, because we cannot make them move or pose accordingly. This requires observation from a distance since the surroundings can be dangerous. It is advised to wait for the right moment and one must always be prepared to wait, and be patient. Wildlife photography takes a long time to get good shots, and to get good shots one must know the right gear, rules, light, shoot wider or shoot closer, and finally again patience isn't a necessity but it’s a MUST. :) :)
