Very nice capture, it makes me want to know his mind.... It would be interesting to really enlarge the eyes and see the reflections more clearly of the background that I see there.

Heyy, Congratulations!! :)
Just saw your image in the Image of the month list. I recognized your style there even though this monkey does not seem as mistrusting as the last one. LOL.
Cool shot! Specially the eyes.

It is said that if a photograph stirs our feelings, then the photographer has done his job - and this photo does that Robbie; it's a magic shot!

Location
This image was taken in a well known Hindu temple called Keesara Gutta Located in Hyderabad city in India.Time
This photo would indeed be one of my favorite image, as it was a cloudy day around 5:15 p.m with not much light so I had to decrease my shutter speed of 1/15s, and did not want to change the ISO which was on 200 just to get more detail and sharpness but was holding on to my camera firmly not to have a handshake since I was using a slow shutter speed that too without a tripod, but kept myself positive for the right result to happen.Lighting
I wanted to draw attention of this little creature's innocent face as the light was getting into his eyes perfectly, but what was disturbing is when I was aiming my camera for this little fellow in this famous temple was that the people were moving in between and around my camera, and I was almost loosing eye contact and focus with this cute creature but I did not give up or get interrupted and continued to focus into his eyes. All of a sudden I felt that this cute little fellow was wondering about what kinda mischief I was upto for him Ha ha ha ha.... as Monkeys, when you usually see them, happy, worried, cute and funny and always with some kinda monkey tricks but it was the other way around as this little one was curious and noticing my behavior since I was aiming the camera towards him. When he continued to look curiously into my lens click came the sound at the right moment. I was worried about my handshake since I used a low shutter speed without a tripod which can cause the image to blur, and of course I was not much tensed about the outcome, but luckily holding my camera firmly with my little hard work and effort I was able to capture the innocent look of a baby Monkey.Equipment
I used a Canon 600D Camera, with a 250mm Lens.Inspiration
The sparkling eyes and the inquisitive look inspired me to capture him.Editing
When shooting wildlife photography especially in low light conditions processing comes in handy since the camera settings at times do not match the available light conditions and as most of the time the white balance goes in for a toss, its advisable to always shoot in RAW, I did post processing since I shot this image in RAW and brought the right contrast, highlights in its place and increased the shadows just a bit.In my camera bag
I carry a Canon Telephoto Lens i e 250 mm especially for wildlife photography and always have a strong desire and wish for a monkey sitting on my lens and taking a Selfie :)..... Ha ha ha ha..... I also carry a Canon 55-85 mm to shoot landscape whenever I feel its a beautiful day of course not with a date, but can give it a thought though (LoL)..... and a beautiful bag which my neighbors envy and last but not the least "WATER"- to quench my thirst to stay cool and composed. :) :)Feedback
In wildlife photography one should be very patience, calm and composed and wait for the right time. Check for various light as possible which can illuminate the subject. Check the colors of background, surroundings, and situations, be prepared for disturbances but stay as calm as possible to get the right moment to happen, and trust me it will happen.
