I was looking for an good way to form the "corpomorto", a bottom-anchored spot for the friends which arrive in the boat, and recently have found this thick wooden log, deeply sunken into the bottom sand.
It was there for maybe three decades or more, but the wood is still solid and resilient enough - also practically immovable.
The plan is to pull the chain under it, and attach a buoy. on the surface. This arrangement can withstand great forces and I doubt that any usual boat can pull the five meter long log out of the sand.
For now, I marked it with this small float, so as to find it easier if or when the sand covers it completely again.
