It is a worldwide tradition to mumble and criticise the boat captains while sitting on the solid ground in the shade. All coastal towns and villages have benches appropriately placed in the shadowy places overlooking the harbor where the expert landlubbers can watch over the boat maneuvers and comment anything not quite to their liking!

"Well done" is rare, "clumsy" and "kno-nuthen" or "when I was..." is pretty common... These bench navigators used to entertain me no end at many an occasion! Have to say they were also right, at times.

Common denominator? Just light-green envy.
No-one would admit it, though!

Then again, this sailor above... Y'know, there's a light southeasterly blowing into his back and he could've raised the flock or spinnaker to have the same speed... but no, easier to make noise and smoke... polluting water... sheer laziness... ;)
