There are photo thieves in this community [too], posting up images that are not their own!

It grieves me to report that some among Viewbug members shamelessly post other people's photos and other imagery in their galleries, showing them off as their own work! A blatant thievery.

Sometimes such "creations" will have modified colors or be re-crops of originals, but there are programs able to recognize certain shapes and able to re-connect such fakery with its origin.

The honesty-challenged "fauxtographers" can be usually recognized by a sudden jump in image quality and unusual thematics among their standard or prevalent photo themes.
Which, to our sorrow, should raise suspicion.

Often the photos will have no image data, or when faked, may have differences clearly not compliant with the cameras or lenses shown. But speeding through the galleries, one might award many photos without realizing that these were not created by the gallery owner. So we make a thief bask in undeserved glory.
Which means - shame on us!

Here is what you can do to check on suspicious photos:

1) Open TinEye or other reverse-checking crawler in a new tab.
2) Screengrab the image and paste it someplace convenient.
3) Drag the image to TinEye search field, let it work...
4) If the search returns multiple finds, REPORT it to Viewbug, using REPORT button (right side, in the photo Info). DO NOT comment under the offending image; the effective answer and reaction belongs to Viewbug admin.
5) Look for other "works" in the same gallery for similar cases.
6) Continue from step 2)

Always help Viewbug and honest members to find, reveal, and REMOVE the Copyright violators! Cheaters, thieves and liars must not be tolerated here, or anywhere else.

Remember this: DISHONEST PEOPLE WILL NEVER BE PHOTOGRAPHERS because they will always lack one large part of any creative activity!
