This adapted support for an impromptu timelapse record holds my Paralenz DiveCam via an old camera clamp, and the cam's proprietary [Picatinny] mountlock to a sturdy iron rod hammered into the ground.

Note the extra mountlock on top of the camera. It was modified into a spirit bubble level horizon indicator. More about it on the next photo...
