Left in the water by someone careless, the boat is exposed to the forces which damage it, and might easily destroy it too.
The boat sits in the shallows, overburdened by heavy snow layer. Every wavelet moves it to and fro, rubbing its hull against the bottom.
So it will probably soon contain still more waterweight - and sink.
After that, even the moderate storm waves will easily tear it apart.
More important than the owner's loss; let's just mention the needle-like glass fibers deposited right where the boat owner's children (and other people) will play, come Summer...
I guess I'll never understand humans. There's more to posession than simply having.

Location
This one was photographed about 300 meters from the house at Lake Ohrid (North Macedonia).Time
The simplest way is to show you the Exif... Date/Time Original was 12-Jan-19 13:50:10Lighting
Here's all there was to it: Shutter Speed 1/800 sec, f/5.6, ISO 100, Exposure Bias Value 0.00 eV, Metering Mode Pattern, Flash On, Fired, Focal Length 13.47 mm. The camera has chosen it all by itself. Clever camera! :)Equipment
Olympus TG-2 was in the pocket, so it was the best camera to use... :)Inspiration
To be honest, I am a sailing addict, and thus a bit sensitive to scenes where boats and other expensive equipment is left neglected. The least one can do is to turn the boat over so the weight and freezing effects of the wintry weather gets less chance to damage it. So seeing something like this makes it an instant inspiration - good or bad. And this scene rubbed me the wrong way, definitely.Editing
Nothing save some cropping. After all, it was Olympus, remember? :)In my camera bag
To me it is easier to carry a photo vest than any photo bag - Winter or Summer, does not matter. So I load my photo vest with whatever I might need for my photo session, walk or trip. My photo bags usually keep the equipment I'm not using at the moment. The vest's many pockets usually contain two cameras, spare batteries, ND and CPL filters, and one small photo clamp instead of a tripod. Sometimes I'll include a small action camera, mainly for its wide field of view and resistance to water and weather. The vest has large-lens pockets that holds a small water bottle, a sandwich, or a bar of chocolate if I plan on being out for the whole day. There is about three meters length of paracord or similar strong, thin rope, one hefty pocket knife, and a lighter. With these, much can be "mcgyvered" along the way, so that's all I need. Recently I make it even more comfortable for me, and take the essentials along in a waist pouch. Simplicity and comfort; two best ingredients in most situations!Feedback
Maybe it will appear boring, but actually there is only two advices for the rest of your photo-career. Firstly, always have a camera at hand. Whatever the camera, as it's only the tool like a pencil, or flute, or hammer and chisel. No more, no less. And secondly, look around for all themes at all times. Even if you plan on shooting the Landscapes, be prepared for unique Macro scenes, because these will appear, want it or not. In a word: look around and have a camera! And - have a Good Light! This means any light... but that's what we wish to one another! :)
