I thought this moth was dead, and then I noticed it was moving. I tried to save him out of the water, just to realise it wanted to go right back.

What I did not understand at the moment, I was witnessing the laying of eggs on underwater plants, as this insect was creating a future generation.

We live to learn...

Very interesting. I know dragonflies do it and many water insects, but never heard of moths doinf it!
