Location
This was in the area the salt lake has pulled back from. Sort of "drought-y" here- tghat sshould be water from where I am standing taking this picture over to the hills, which are an island in the salt lake.Time
This is probably early afternoon. Sun would be right of us here....Lighting
It was the lighting that pulled me into this image. Hazy day and super pastel colors just pulled me in. I was trying to shoot around my daughter, then discovered it was better with her in it!Equipment
Used a D-500, and a 70-200 at 155... so 200mm equivalent or so...hand held at 1/320 sec....Inspiration
I was shooting the landscape, and trying to shoot around my daughter walking out there.... but I kept looking and saw that her in the picture was even better. So ALWAYS KEEP WORKING your shot!!!Editing
Just a quick adjust in Lightroom....In my camera bag
Had a tripod, just didnt need it. Keep a couple zooms normally with me!Feedback
Just keep working a shot until you get something you like!!!!!
