A lone tree (and I) are the sole witnesses to the sunrise this morning in this off the beaten track corner of Zion National Park. Sometimes it is good to be alone with your thoughts, the wind, and a tree.

I shot on this trip testing a Rokinon 14mm F2.8 IF ED MC, which this image was shot with. It seemed to be a good lens overall, but nothing that blew me away, or that I couldn't get with other lenses I already have. In most cases, the other lenses were better than this one. While you might think this was a good lens for Astrophotography, this one did not prove to be that worthy- it would not focus to a pin-prick for the stars. I think it was just a poorly maintained lens (from BorrowLens, FWIW. They said that the focus was messed up when I returned it, but did not credit me the rental.)
