Villagers and turists of Lubenice, (Cres Is., northern Adriatic, Croatia) have a very beautiful beach. But they have to walk down from where I stand along the zig-zagging path, and it takes about an hour.
Which is not half as bad as returning, for when you're back in the village, it is as if you didn't bathe at all (not counting the sweat).
Next day you cleverly drive down to the harbor and take a boat to the beach...
