On a recent trip out to Antelope Island, we stopped along the causeway to shoot a stump that caught my eye. This was also a view I found intriguing- I love mist, fog and the gentle interplay among the elements. Sort of a different shot for me- rather than bold colors, this is soft, smooth and relaxing. To me, the scene as a whole is the subject, not something in the shot.
