An old bronze figure of Coal Miner, holding the characteristic Davy's lamp* and a pick, main tools of his hard trade.
Miners still suffer for the rest of the World; their work is invisible until the results reach the surface.
They live unglorious lives, to die in any of the fretful ways you can imagine.
They never get the place in prime time - unless there is some accident, and then... the more dead, the more important the news.
We from Earth surface should learn to appreciate this kind of existence with a lot less hypocrisy... even if it means seeing less of the celebrities or politicians on TV.
But from experience... the chance of that happening is not just fat... it's outright hugely obese, dripping fat... :(
