Watersnake hunting is an interesting sight. They master the "trim trick" to dive, which means they'll let out the air and become heavier than water. So the snake can as easily move on the surface as along the bottom. This fellow does not seem to be afraid of me... probably feeling no hunting intentions emanating from my behavior. And he lets me come quite close to take a photo.
