I am privileged to snorkle every summer day in one of the most complex eco-systems (lake reed forests). Often I get to see various hunting scenes, sometimes in their final phase, and sometimes in preparation. In this very moment, both the fish and the snake are very aware of each other, and do not mind me being near at all. I'd presume it was because they had more pressing worries.
