People have always tried to hide their junk underwater, and a piece of everything ever made has its representation in the depths. It has more to do with human character than actual problems, but problems are there, and will emerge sooner or later - like perhaps with fishing or anchoring at this place where someone decided to get rid of a ton of steelwire cable.
