Remember Mila, the stray which has dragged herself to our village on Jan 29th? It was one really tearful sight, as she was not able to use her hind legs at all.
First we thought she was hit by a car, but the X-ray images have shown she was shot by some inhuman eegit, revealing about 30 pellets lodged at various depths throughout her body...
Well, today is 5th of March, and her condition is WAY BETTER. She can already move for maybe 10 meters in one go, using at least her right hind leg, at times supporting herself with the left leg for a step or two.
Thanks to my darling wife, Mila the Doggie was not scheduled for euthanasia, and by receiving B-Complex and Analgine, she is delightfully though slowly, recovering.
Keep your fingers crossed for this beautiful soul! Guessing by her current recovering speed, Mila maybe needs another two weeks to be able to walk!
Today is a cold, rainy, but a really good day! And since our weather turned so bleak and wet, she's now living inside our home. :)

WONDERFUL. Did they succeed in removing some pellets. And that monster may rot

We are not addressing the pellets until she recovers. These are at various depths, so it will require an operation (where feasible) but first they'll have to remove some closer to the skin, so we can see whether the pellets are lead or iron. If lead, then she can be analysed by MRI so as to precisely locate all pellets. Othervise, bodies have the ability to encapsulate foreign matter and neutralize or reduce lead poisoning.

People such as yourselves are what gives me hope. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful story. Most of the time, I like animals more than people unless, of course, the people are such as yourselves.

Thanks, my friend... and I think almost everyone who appreciates all life thinks likewise. :)
