It looks like the boat is speedy, but it was not. This kind of a vessel was not built for this propulsion (at least 15 HP at the stern) - and the boat line here shows its limitations by the way it makes its wake. in other words, there is too much fuel spent for no effect.
One has to remember that on water, double power only adds one quarter more speed, and the form of any vessel waterline dictates the optimal speed-for-power ratio.
Typical local 5-meter fishing boats are at their economic velocity (3-4 knots) when using 5 - 7 HP outboards...
