There is a region in southernmost coastal Croatia named Konavle, and a female living there is a Konavoka (pron. kon-ah-woe-kah) - a curious grammar twist, be it even in a Croatian language, that many say is rather difficult to learn.
This lady in one version of local traditional wear was photographed in Ubli on Lastovo Island, some 40 years ago.
