My "workplace" on top of Mana Island (Kornati Nat'l Park, Adriatic, Croatia) in winter of one long gone year. And there's my transceiver and a half-λ omni-dir antenna, to give you a hint.

Wonder if anyone would still remember the faint "niner-alpha-six alpha-juliet-oscar for QSO* " calls from those days and distances, while my temporary QTH* was on this beautiful location...
... until the batteries irrevocably died against all calculations!

Never mind. Main thing was, the camera batteries served me well till the last day. Only problem was, I've had only 50 rolls of film...

* QSO means "communication" and QTH means "location" in ham radio coded lingo. It is more practical and effective when one has to send Morse signals if the vocal audio connection is weak.
