Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken in my own garden.

Time

I took this about 8pm one July evening.

Lighting

Being late evening I expected it to be quite low light but this evening seem to have a patch of late, bright sunlight.

Equipment

I took this on my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200. No flash needed.

Inspiration

I noticed how the vibrant yellow of the sunflower was standing out in the evening sun. Although quite late in the day this flower shone!

Editing

I enhanced the sharpness just a little to bring out the edges to the petals.

In my camera bag

Being a very lazy photographer I generally only carry my camera, sometimes I have my tripod but rarely use it.

Feedback

Sometimes just the smallest of things stand out. I happened to look out of my window & the sunflower just glowed in the evening light. Observation is the key here.
