This looks a beautiful place, full of the oldie world England has to offer. Like stepping back in time. Paul.

Location
This photo was taken in a village called Castle Combe in Wiltshire, EnglandTime
I was lucky enough to be staying in this beautiful Cotswold village for a couple of days & after all the day trippers had left the village fell silent. This image was taken about 4.30pm on a mild October day.Lighting
Beif towards the end of the day & without bright sunlight the Cotswold stone of the buildings stood out beautifully and also the details in the wall along by the stream.Equipment
This image was taken back in 2013 when I was still experimenting & finding my style of photography & camera. This was taken on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150. No other equipment was usedInspiration
The Cotswolds is a very unique area in the UK with it's lovely sandy coloured stone. When I walked along the street this scene just struck me as being something that I wanted to show my friends.Editing
I was still experimenting styles & playing with post-processing at this time. This image has been posterized to highlight the detail in the bricks & tiles. In my camera bag
I am a very lazy photographer & only ever carry my camera. If I can't get the image I'm seeing with the naked eye then I don't get that image. I have since upgraded my camera & now have a fantastic zoom which widens my scope for taking pictures using just the camera in my hand.Feedback
I believe in the saying 'Seek & you will find'. Look around, go out later, wait until the crowds have dispersed then look again. Photography gives you the freedom to capture an image of choice, your choice.
