Thank you so much! It's photographed in the backyard of my house and I am blessed to live where I do. The land has been in my family for over 100 years.

Early morning, between 6-7 a.m.Lighting
It was the natural light that captured my eyes in the first place. All I had to do was to bring my camera, point and shoot.Equipment
Nikon D7100, 18-70mm kit lense. I was about to post the two for sale and wanted a photo to show how great a kit lense can be.Inspiration
The beautiful morning light with the mist and sunrise over the lake.Editing
Nothing major. Just adjusted the whites and shades to show off the rays more.In my camera bag
I recently sold the D7100 and bought a D750 instead. I shoot with 24-70, 70-200 and a 200-500mm at the moment. The 200-500 doesn't really fit my small camera bag but I really love it. Awesome lense for the price. I have a Manfrotto (8 LED) camera lamp, remote release and a few cleaning tools as well as a spare battery. This kit goes a long way.Feedback
Early mornings are my favorite to shoot. Even better than sunsets. Sometimes I'm out an hour before sunrise. It's an amazing feeling to watch the spectacular nature come to life. And I am part of it. It's like poetry. If I'm lucky I get to take a fraction of that moment with me home in my camera and share it with others.
