Just love this one Linda my favourite time of the day you would not get the mist over the lake like this otherwise!

Very true. Luckilly I'm a morning person. I finally have three mornings off so I'm hoping I can catch a break and get a sunrise. It's been raining the past three days anyways.

Location
This image was taken just around the corner of the lake where I live in Bollebygd, Sweden.Time
It was photographed early in the morning, 5:52 to be precise and the date was April 28th 2015.Lighting
Normally you should watch out for back lighting but this morning was just point and shoot. The fog helped softening the sun so it was perfect.Equipment
Nikon D7100 and a Nikon 24-70 mmInspiration
Just the mood of the morning.Editing
No, I really didn't. This is sooc. (Straight out of camera)In my camera bag
My Nikon D7200, D750, 10-24 mm, 24-70 mm, my 70-200 mm, 200-500mm. A remote release, some ND-filters, paper and pen in case I need to take notes. Sometimes I throw in my 50mm as it takes amazingly sharp images, and my tripod if there's water or night skies where I'm going. (My D7100 is sold and replaced by the 7200)Feedback
Take many shots and try many different angles, low to high, zoomed in, zoomed out etc. This specific spot is a place I return to often so I know the area and what angles work. That's my next tip. Get to know a pretty area and visit there often. Learn about the light and what time a day the light/sun/moon is in a specific spot or angle. It will help you set up for a great composition and photo next time you're there.
