World class! Those lines, curves and colors are so overwhelming...this one belongs against a wall of a great art gallery! BRAVO! :-)

Location
The photo was taken when I spent my holidays in Acapulco some years ago. Between Acapulco and Coyuca is a beautiful lagoon, which you may know from some movies. One day, I and my friends organized a trip along the lagoon by a little fishing boat. We started after lunch and came back after sunset.Time
The photo was taken just after sunset when the sky was beautifully lit by the sun, which had already disappeared over the horizon. This was, I dare say, the most beautiful moment of the day.Lighting
The lighting was completely natural, with no artificial lights.Equipment
What camera was used? Frankly, I do not remember as I used some old, film camera, maybe Minolta, of my friend. My camera was waiting for me in the hotel room.Inspiration
The inspiration for taking the photo came very naturally from the light conditions at the moment I took the photo.Editing
Usually, this kind of photography needs a lot of postprocessing. In this particular case, the film had to be scanned first and then normal editing could follow. I use Linux (Leap 15.2 right now), which implies that the main editors I use are Gimp, Rawtherapee, Darktable, and some other software. In my camera bag
These days, my equipment is of course completely different that at the time I took the photo. I use Sony A7III as my main camera and also some Sony lenses. Particularly, Sony 24 - 70/2.8, 12 - 24/4, 100 - 400/4 - 5.6, ZA 50/1.8 that form my basic equipmentFeedback
Well, my first advice could the following. Use your own equipment that you know very well! You will save a lot of time when working on your photos.
