Location
The photo was taken at Exmoor Zoo in Devon, England.Time
I took this about 11am, the fox was very sleepy as being a nocturnal animal it was now time to sleep.Lighting
As the fox was lying in among some shrubs I needed to find where the light was, just catching it without too much glare coming through.Equipment
Just my trusty Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200. It's lightweight enough to carry all day.Inspiration
Just the expression on the foxes face. I had obviously disturbed it's sleep & it was giving me a very stern look.Editing
I did adjust the exposure just a little using PS Elements just to bring up the colour on the fox.In my camera bag
I carry very little as I don't always go out to photograph. My Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 it very versatile & lightweight so I usually just carry that. I do have a tripod in the boot of my car but it rarely comes out.Feedback
Don't be put off with the fact that the animal may be asleep or hidden in undergrowth. If you wait a little while they do tend to notice that your there & will look up.
