The wonderful straight 8! My parents bought this car in '53 in Rhodesia {Zimbabwe] The lovely image has almost got it right except ours was a pale green. My mother said it was the best car they ever had ..

Thank you for sharing. Yeah, these babies still go both 50 and 60 years later. It was quality back then.

I was out there taking photos of classic cars. This one drove around, away from the crowd so I wanted to quickly capture the Swedish summer scene of the fileds, the clouds and the classic car when there was no disrupting objects in the way. It turned out a clean image, just as I wanted it.Editing
Yes, it's a mix of black and white/sepia background, selective color - all done post pro. A touch of HDR added as well for better details. In my camera bag
Nikon D7100 10-24, 24-70 and 70-200. It covers the most basic needs. I also carry ND-filters and a wireless remote + spare battery.Feedback
Focus on what you're interested in and go out there and shoot. I go to as many car shows as possible. The more clutter (people, cars, trash cans etc) the more of a challenge and that's how you get better at taking nice, clean photos. You learn tricks to work around it. Take the opportunity when it arises like here. It drove off where the landscape was clean. I didn't zoom completely, which left me room to crop and straighten the photo out.
