It's amazing when you chase and photograph a storm from it's beginning or birth till it's end. The amount of times it can change it's shape and colour into what looks like an entirely new moment of what could be a different day or month.
At the very beginning as the system gained traction on the 23rd of this month it stalled briefly beside Mt Walker and begun to back build with strong convection. It was also at that moment the sunset was in full glow and I happen to be on the right side of the whole system to capture this moment.
It was also strange to experience at this exact moment, all wind stopped for less than five minutes which was very spooky considering what we had forming in front of us. And then the light hit so perfectly it hit all area's of the storm and reached the beginning of the rain core that would become very large and contain small hail.
