Well this was a strange an amazing day of chasing. Firstly we managed to avoid getting inside any of the storms and looking at the hail images i'm glad. And secondly I witnessed at-least three rotating super-cells in different locations.
This image was from the southern edge of Peak Crossing looking at the back of a large storm. This rotating supercell had grown for over an hour before tracking towards the Beaudesert-Nerang areas. To watch this beast just spin upwards was amazing. Due to the severity of the storms today we chose not to drive thru for a better view.
