Location
I took this photo not far from Vienna in Austria in a forest I know very well.Time
This photo was taken in the evening - it was one of the last ones in the whole shooting taken around 7pm.Lighting
I wanted the silhouette of the model's head pronounced by the backlight of the setting sun - and also used it to get get the dreamy bokeh of the light shining through the trees and their leaves.Equipment
I've used my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV together with the bokeh monster Sigma 105/1.4 Art.Inspiration
On this day later during the shooting I wanted to use the light situation to get this dreamy look and just let Irina do what was coming to my her mind. She's such a great model always surprising with unusual poses - so sometimes it's just important to give her the perfect photographic playground and to not miss the perfect moment.Editing
Basically I just did a RAW development without changing much, but I needed to do some retouching a small spot in the background to remove an overexposed area.In my camera bag
Nowadays it's most of the time this: Canon EOS R5 Canon RF 14-35/4 Sigma 85/1.4 Art Sigma 180/2.8 macro Sigma 120-300/2.8 OS Sports Sigma 150-600/5.0-6.3 Contemporary Berlebach tripod And my bags are the f-stop Tilopa Duradiamond and the f-stop f-stop Kashmir ULFeedback
It really depends on the model too if it's possible to get such a photo, but even if you rely on the model to do some intuitive posing, it's great to have the technique under control and setting up the scene for a special lighting - so the overall result will be perfect. It's good to choose a place you know very well on any daytime - so you always can choose the best spot there at the right time.
