Das niet eerlijk (maar wel heerlijk) een award winnen gekoppeld aan koffie en eentje aan thee. Kan nooit beide goed zijn hè... 😂😂😂

Location
I took this photo at the beach near Cascais in Portugal.Time
It was about 2 pm.Lighting
This is a natural light photo. The sun was partially hidden behind the clouds.Equipment
I wanted to capture my wife drinking her cofee without disturbing the moment. I liked the pose and her expression very much the way it was, so I quickly grabed my camera and took one photo, obviously without any extra equipment...Inspiration
My wife and I like to walk along the coast from São João do Estoril to Cascais. After a stressfull day it's allways nice to enjoy the sea and sun with a cup of Portugese coffee, the best there is! Overlooking Cascais in the distance I tried to capture this moment of peace.Editing
I did a bit of post-processing in Lightroom. I tried to fade the background a bit more to put the focus on the moment. I also put some highlights on my wifes hair and cropped the photo of course. In my camera bag
I don't have any equipment in my bag (yet) I am a beginning photographer and I am learning to use a camera, to look for the good light, composition and point of view. One day when I know how to use and set the camera well enough, I will start to think about a bag filled with technical things instead of the need to understand how it works first...Feedback
If you want want to take a candid photo of someone realy close to your camera, you have to take the moment and shoot quickly... once your subject knows you are trying to make a photo, the moment is gone! Because you can't plan the framing, you always have to crop such a photo later. That's why you have to shoot a wider area then the result you want to achieve. The settings of your camera can be done by choosing another subject at the same distance and the same light intensity, nearby the subject you eventually want to shoot... Crop and edit the photo in different ways, so you can choose the best one the next day when you can have a fresh look at them!
